December Book Haul!

In the spirit of almost christmas I’m going to do the book haul today. Right after I’ll be sure to stuff my face with chocolate chip cookies and drink gallons of hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows. No, I will not roast the marshmallows because I have yet to learn how to boil water without burning down the city. And if you don’t believe me, here is a picture of one of my past victims…

Rest in Peace Hotty.

This series I recently started and man have I had some weird excellent luck.

Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet by Leisa Rayven!

A fellow blogger and the covers got me to purchase these novels. Almost finished with the first book, you can expect a review soon.

*THE DRAMA HERE CAN LEAVE YOUR HEAD DIZZY.

Bad Romeo Blurb:

When Cassie Taylor met Ethan Holt at acting school, sparks flew. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy about campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all. Like the characters they were playing, Cassie and Ethan’s romance seemed destined. Until he broke her heart and betrayed her trust. Now the A-list heartthrob is back in her life and turning her world around. One touch at a time.

Cast as romantic leads once again, they’re forced to confront raw memories of the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their secret college affair. But they’ll also discover that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks.

Broken Juliet Blurb:

How do you fix a love that’s been broken beyond repair?

For years, Cassie Taylor tried to forget about Ethan Holt. He was the one great love of her life, and when he failed to return her love, a part of her died forever. Or so she thought. Now she and Ethan are sharing a Broadway stage, and he’s determined to win her back. Claiming to be a changed man, he’s finally able to say all the things she needed to hear years ago, but can she believe him? What makes this time different from all his other broken promises?

Ethan knows he can’t change their tumultuous past, but if he’s going to have any chance of being with the woman he loves, he’ll need to convince Cassie that her future belongs with him.

Don’t miss this stunning conclusion to the unforgettable love story that captivated over two million fans online.

Confess by Colleen Hoover!

Obviously I had to start with this book out of all because please COLLEEN HOOVER. The tales are true. Check out my review here! I do really wish I can rock multiple shades of lipstick like the model seems she can do.

The next is one my mejor amiga introduced me to a while ago and I’m gonna read it again to write an official review because I need angel related magic to rain down on the blog. Plus according to my brother, my guardian angel has been frowning upon my recent decisions and wishing he/she was assigned to anyone else but me…

Angel Burn (Angel, #1) by L.A. Weatherly!

Angel Burn Blurb:

Angels are all around us: beautiful, awe-inspiring, irresistible.

Ordinary mortals yearn to catch a glimpse of one of these stunning beings and thousands flock to The Church of Angels to feel their healing touch.
But what if their potent magnetism isn’t what it seems?
Willow knows she’s different from other girls. And not just because she loves tinkering around with cars.
Willow has a gift. She can look into people’s futures, know their dreams, their hopes and their regrets, just by touching them. But she has no idea where she gets this power from.

Until she meets Alex…
Alex is one of the few who know the truth about angels. He knows Willow’s secret and is on a mission to stop her.
The dark forces within Willow make her dangerous – and irresistible.
In spite of himself, Alex finds he is falling in love with his sworn enemy.

And finally the last in my collection is from an all time favorite author of mine!

Scorched (Frigid, #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Scorched Blurb:

Sometimes life leaves a mark.

Most days, Andrea doesn’t know whether she wants to kiss Tanner or punch him in the gut. He is seriously hot, with legit bedroom eyes and that firefighter body of his, but he’s a major player, and they can’t get along for more than a handful of minutes. Until now.

Tanner knows he and Andrea have had an epic love/hate relationship for as long as he can remember, but he wants more love than hate from her. He wants her. Now. Tomorrow. But the more he gets to know her, the more it becomes obvious that Andrea has a problem. She’s teetering on the edge, and every time he tries to catch her, she slips through his fingers.

Andrea’s life is spiraling out of control, and it doesn’t matter that Tanner wants to save her, because when everything falls apart and she’s speeding toward rock bottom, only she can save herself.

Sometimes life makes you work for that happily ever after…

*Yes it is the second book but you can read it the two books in the series in whatever order you like. Reading both I realized, they take place in different times and don’t leave you confused. Anyone who can make the red hair on them not look like a clown accidentally dropped into a bucket of paint, left it on, and woke up the following morning the opposite of cinderella BLESS YOU.

That’s it for this book haul. Thanks for reading and Happy Christmas Eve!!
